What should I expect in the first few sessions?
Everyone’s experience is different in therapy. Together, we will develop tools and skills that you can use in your life. Through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, you will develop skills to help you become more psychologically flexible. As we progress, you’ll begin to see changes in your relationships, improved sense of hope and outlook on life and relate differently to the feelings you experience. We are excited to partner with you as you process the challenges you’ve experienced and progress towards to person you want to be in all domains of your life.

What is the cost?
We accept several insurance plans. Please see the Investment tab for more information, and contact your insurance. We are unable to answer specific insurance plan questions, so please refer to your insurance company for all questions regarding coverage.

If you decide to not to use insurance or are unable to use insurance, we bill at an hourly fee. We collect out-of-pocket payments after each session.

Intake: $220

Individual Therapy: $180

Couples Therapy: $200

How long are sessions?
All therapy sessions are 50 minutes.

What is your cancelation policy?
We require 24 hours advance notice for any cancellations. We prioritize that hour for you and we need time to adjust to fill our session slots if you cannot make it. All late cancellations will be charged a fee of $90.

What are the hours?

MTC office hours are 10am-4pm Monday through Friday by appointment.

What is your Discharge Policy?

Reason(s) for discharge: Client completed services; Client referred out for services; Client discontinued treatment. Reason(s) for involuntary discharge: Three No-shows and/or late cancellations in a 6 month period; Non-compliance with treatment recommendations; a threat to clinician’s safety; client does not return and a lapse of treatment after 60 days without follow-up.

How long does treatment last?

Everyone’s needs and experiences are different, so there is no “one size fits all” rule. Our goal is to help you build confidence so that you can live more fully. You are an active participant in the therapy process, so your voice and reflection matters regarding your treatment.

What is the best way to reach you?

Email is the most effective way to reach us, as we are often in session and cannot always answer the phone. MTC will try to respond to emails within 2 business days.
