Hey! I’m Jeremy. I’m so glad you’re here.
I like to think of finding a therapist like finding that special pet at the humane society—one with just the right personality and quirks. So, let me give you a glimpse into what it’s like working with me so you can see if we’re a good match. I’m all about keeping it real—no pretenses here. I’ll bring my whole, imperfect self into our sessions, and I hope you’ll feel free to do the same. My goal is to create a space where we can build a genuine connection and work through the weirdness of therapy together.
My approach is pretty eclectic, which means I draw from a range of therapy techniques I’ve picked up over the years. You won’t hear me using a lot of technical jargon because I believe people learn best in plain, everyday language. I’m here to help you discover and build on your own strengths, and I need you to believe in yourself as much as I will believe in you.
With over 20 years in the mental health field, I’ve seen it all—from inpatient psychiatric units and day treatments to intensive outpatient and standard outpatient therapy. I’ve also provided mental health education to various groups. My main models I refer to included Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Proactive Solutions, and Attachment Regulation and Competency. What matters most to me is helping you tap into your inner strengths because I truly believe you have them. Remember, I can’t do more work than you can—this is your journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
